Deborah L. Wood, CPA provides accounting and financial services, specializing in technology-driven industries.  She has served as controller of a satellite programming company, an environmentally-friendly consumer products company, and currently serves as controller and human resources director of a leading software development firm.

 

     Ms. Wood manages accounting functions, including the preparation of financial statements, performing inter-company cost allocations, conducting budgeting and forecasting, tax compliance and reporting (payroll, sales, and income), and contract compliance.  She has implemented new accounting systems and software, and has developed and implemented inventory control systems.  She is the primary liaison for external accountants, auditors, and employee benefit providers (insurance and 401k).

     In the community, Ms. Wood is an officer in her local chapter of the National Charity League and provides scoliosis and hearing/vision screening in local schools.
